Got something broken that you’ve been meaning to fix “one day”? Now’s your chance! Thanks to generous grant funding from Waste Authority of Western Australia & WasteSorted WA, the Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Resource Centre is launching a brand-new monthly Repair Café, running one Saturday morning each month for the next 6 months — and it’s completely FREE!
We’ve brought together an amazing team of:
Handy handymen
Sewing professionals
Tech gurus
Green-thumbed helpers
They won’t just fix your items — they’ll show you how, helping you save money, reduce waste, and give your belongings a second life.
What can you bring?
Toys – broken or needing minor repairs
Small household items – mugs, crockery & similar items
Textiles & clothing – linen, torn clothes, holes, loose buttons
Plants & gardening tools – maintenance or repair
Bikes – minor repairs and adjustments
Tech – small devices needing troubleshooting
Please Note: Our Repairers are only required to assist with small item repairs, meaning items that you can safely carry into the building.
